February is Heart Month, and several free events for the public will offer encouragement and tips to stay heart-healthy. Details are below:

National Wear Red Day: Friday, Feb. 5

Speak up about heart disease – the No. 1 killer of women – by wearing red on National Wear Red Day and encouraging your friends and family to wear red and host Wear Red Day events at their workplace and elsewhere. For more information, visit www.pdxgoesred.org or call 503-233-0100.

“Heart Beat” information fair
